New Delhi:
True to his 'CEO Chief Minister' reputation, N Chandrababu Naidu updated his
LinkedIn profile shortly after being sworn in for the fourth time as Andhra
Pradesh's Chief Minister.
"I am
pleased to share that I am resuming my role as the people's Chief Minister of
Andhra Pradesh. As you are aware, the citizens of our state have granted the
TDP-JSP-BJP alliance a strong mandate, with 164 seats in the Assembly."This
achievement reflects the tireless efforts of our grassroots workers, office
bearers, and leaders who worked day and night to share our vision with the
people. Their commitment has created a larger Team Andhra Pradesh, with voters
across the state joining us as our fourth alliance partner."
"This
will be a government for the people. We aim to meet their expectations and
provide people-centric governance to the best of our abilities," stated
the Telugu Desam Party leader in his post.
LinkedIn, a
professional networking platform, is less frequently used by political leaders,
who typically update on Twitter, Facebook, and sometimes Instagram.
Naidu's
earlier terms as Chief Minister were praised for policies enhancing the 'ease
of doing business,' earning him the moniker 'CEO of Andhra Pradesh Inc.'
However, he faced criticism for agricultural policies, with opponents labeling
him "anti-poor." After a significant defeat in the 2019 state
elections, Naidu has made a remarkable comeback, with the TDP-led NDA alliance
securing 164 out of 175 Assembly seats.
The TDP
leader's LinkedIn post received over 12,000 reactions and was shared 173 times.
Nearly 1,500 comments included congratulations on his victory and various
suggestions from social media users.
